How do you get smooth lips?

I am in my late twenties and alsways have had problems with chapped lips, which means I rarely can wear lipstick or gloss because they are too dry.

I use vaseline and nivea repair balm as these are the only things that work at all. I regularly exfoliate my lips, drink at least 1 1/2 litres of water a day and eat lots of fruit and veg. I also target foods high in Vitamin A to improve my overall skin.
What am I doing wrong - is there an answer?

it is absolutely amazing.

i had chapped lips for years, doctors gave me creams etc they didnt work.

randomly bought carmex one day, never looked back. my doctor now tells people to try carmex!

you will have to use it pretty much forever but it makes lips nice and smooth and is really soothing.

Wrinkle-free Lips

They give your lips the needed moisture to keep it from drying.

Aside from lip moisturisers, exfoliating is great for lips. It keeps off dead cells, giving you those soft and smooth lips. Rubbing your lips with a clean toothbrush is one way of exfoliating. However, you must remember to use circular motions and keep the pressure light. The lips are sensitive and you wouldn’t want to overdo it. Rinse your lips with lukewarm water right after to get those smooth lips.
